Sunday School continues to gather weekly for faith formation and study for our children and their teachers. Before we know it we’ll be wrapping up the Easter Season.Mark your calendars!
The children will sing in worship on April 5th in celebration of Palm Sunday. Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on April 11 at 10am. Bring your children, their friends, grandchildren and neighbors.

All 3rd-6th graders are welcome to be a part of JR Youth
Thank you to all who supported our Hugs N Cookies project. We sold a record 450 cookies this year. There was a great turn out of help taking orders, making and decorating cookies, setting up the cookie booth and delivering the cookies. We decided that next year we need to make more chocolate chip cookies and skip monster cookies and go back to peanut butter cookies.
Our next project will be promoting the One Great Hour of Sharing offering at church. We decided that we will promote this offering by hanging posters around at church; we have selected mission moment videos to share in worship on March 8, 15 and 22. We will be placing envelopes in the pews after Sunday School on Feb 23. We will help lead parts of worship on March 22 when we dedicate the offering.
Our next meeting is on March 15 from 10:45-noon.
ALL 7th-12th graders are welcome to be a part of SR Youth
We are wrapping up our candle sale in the coming days. Orders and money are due on Feb 23. Funds raised by candle sales will go into the individual’s Faith in Action account to help defray the cost of faith building opportunities (church camp, retreats, or mission trips).
Plans are underway for a youth mission trip to Back Bay Mission from July 25-August 1. There is an informational meeting planned for Feb 23 at 6pm for more details. Parents are welcome (and encouraged) to attend with their sons/daughters.
Our next fundraiser to support that endeavor is planned for the month of March. We’ll be selling Faye’s Pizzas. See the signup sheet on the bulletin board to claim a Saturday or Sunday to take orders after worship.
We are looking for a fundraising option to help us raise funds for group expenses for our trip. If you have ideas, bring them to our next meeting.
