The faith formation ministry at Salem wouldn’t be possible without the many volunteers who share their gifts with our children & youth. Sticky Faith, our intergenerational, midweek faith formation ministry dates for the 2019-2020 school year are: October 2 and Jan 22
We will gather at church for a meal and faith formation focus and fellowship from
5:30-7:30pm.
ALL AGES are welcome! Come alone or with your family, there is something for everyone. (Children 2nd grade and younger need to be accompanied by a parent)
We met on September 8th to kick off the program year. We discussed our plans for the 2019-2020 school year. National Youth Event is planned for July 22-25 at Purdue University in Indiana. We have also decided to participate in a work trip in June (2020) to Atlanta, Georgia. Our next meeting is planned for October 13. Everyone is asked to bring their calendars to determine dates for our ATL trip as well as fundraising ideas so we can get started.
We met on September 8th, shared highs and lows, had ice cream and played games. We talked about rescheduling (again) our Chicago trip to Nov 10. We’d leave church at 10:45 and return around 8pm. We need a minimum of 7 kids to make this happen. Sign up on the Youth Fellowship bulletin board by Oct 13th to participate. Cost is $50 per person.
Acolyte Workshop Oct 6 at 9:45am
Students grades 3-6 will be learning how and why we acolyte at our acolyte workshop on October 6 from 9:45-10:15am. ANYONE interested in learning more about the importance of this ministry is WELCOME to join us in the sanctuary for this opportunity.
