Notes from our last meeting:
Present: Chase Markus, Maddy Pratt, Ethan Feldner, Sam Meyer, Josiah Gundersen, Carter Pratt, Jaiden Krueger, Hannah Velier, Delaney Fischer, Aubrey Fischer, Katy Fischer, and Lena Schoenefeld.
Aubrey led us in devotions. We talked about our successful Salvation Army Christmas food drive. We planned for our upcoming Hugs N Cookies fundraiser. Sam & Lena volunteered to take orders on Jan 21. Marsha will send out an email to parents for kids to sign up to help take orders and also for helping to bake cookies on Feb 10 from 3-6pm, and to help with deliveries following worship on Saturday, Feb 10th and Sunday, Feb 11th. We talked about our next mission project. We would like to create personal hygiene bags to accompany the mats that will be taken to Back Bay Mission in May. We will begin promoting that following the Hugs N Cookies project. We thought that items such as: t shirt bags, tooth brushes, tooth paste (we could ask at local dentist offices for donations), no perishable snacks, socks, tissues, lotion and breathe mints or lifesavers, and Chap Stick would be good items to ask for. We will celebrate the end of our Hugs N Cookies project by going tubing at Sunburst on Feb 11 instead of having a meeting.

Notes from our last meeting:
Present: Cora Meyer, Karlee Hartmann, Lauren Bunyea, Morgan Clarke, Cassie Clarke, Megan Fontany
Cassie read our devotions. We talked about tubing on Feb 11, a signup sheet and permission slips will be posted on the bulletin board. We talked about starting a monthly Bridgeway Ministry connection. Marsha will contact Claudette about what needs they have and how we can help. We decided to host a brat fry on March 24 as a fundraiser for Regional Youth Event (we will also plan to sell leftovers after church on Sunday). We are thinking about what else would be a good partner activity to go with our brat fry that would draw in more people. We’ll talk more about that next time. RYE is July 5-8, we will plan to stay in Chicago for an additional evening and return to Plymouth on July 9 late in the day. We agreed to handle the message portion of the Youth Sunday service highlighting our trip to Minneapolis this past summer and sharing the ways we look forward to representing Salem as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world.
