Worship is at the center of all we do…

The church is thrilled to have the program year begin because that means our church family is back together again. In the church we rejoice when fall comes because we know it brings the promise of the body of Christ being more fully present. It matters that you’re here. And hopefully, when you’re back you find a warm, authentic welcome.

Worship is the center of all that we do in the life of the church. Studies have shown that people who worship regularly are less anxious, experience less stress, and are overall more fulfilled in life. When you find yourself overwhelmed by life’s demands we believe that God’s people worshipping God is the single most important thing we as Christians can do.

It’s not that life’s demands shouldn’t be tended to. I am saying that when we center ourselves in who we are as God’s beloved children it helps us make better decisions, it keeps us focused on things that are good for us longterm, and it reminds us of how much we are blessed.

When you have too much on your plate and there seems to be more burdens and less joy, be present in worship. Worship will feed your soul and connect you with a God that loves you beyond anything you can imagine.

Who doesn’t need that?
