Chester’s $5 and $10 SCRIP cards are back! 

Did you know that if you go inside the Kwik Trip stores with your gift card, instead of paying at the pump; the church gets an additional 10%?

How many people have Kohl’s credit cards?  Our cards have “Kohl’s Cares” on it.  Those cards can be used to pay off your credit card balance/bill when taken into the store.  We keep Kohl’s $25 and $100 in stock.

We are always talking about ways we can increase the money that goes into our church. We are always looking for ways to get more money.  One way is through the SCRIP program.

Example:   Piggly Wiggly pays 3% (3.00 per every $100 card)  Kwik Trip and Fleet Farm pay 5% ($5.00 per every $100.00 card)

Everybody eats and most people drive a car.  If a family bought a $50 Piggly Wiggly card and a $50 Kwik Trip or Fleet Farm card through the SCRIP program, here is how the program works.

With the $1.50 from Piggly Wiggly  +  the $2.50 from KT or FF, that would be $4.00 that the family would be giving extra to the church each week.

The $4.00 (from the above scenario) x 50 weeks would be $200.00 a year that the family would be giving extra to the church, without increasing their giving.

If 50 people did this, the $200 per family, per year  x  the 50 families doing this program; the church would receive an additional $10,000.

This is all with no increase in what the families are currently giving to the church. Nobody should be walking out the door without a SCRIP card in their hands.
